Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings upon the trustworthy Prophet, Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the leader of the righteous, and upon his family and all his companions. To proceed:
The Saudi Journal of Special Education is a (periodical, scientific, peer-reviewed) journal dedicated to publishing original, unpublished research in Arabic and English, using diverse scientific methodologies in the fields of special education, individuals with disabilities, their families, and exceptional students (the gifted). It also covers related fields, such as social, psychological, and educational sciences, relevant to individuals with disabilities and their families.
The journal is published twice a year in April and October, with three issues per month under the supervision of an elite group of editorial board members and a local and international advisory committee. It is managed by the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association for Special Education, affiliated with King Saud University. The first issue was released in April 2015.
The journal aims to provide an opportunity for researchers worldwide to publish their scientific contributions in the fields of disability and special education, ensuring originality, innovation, adherence to research ethics, and scientific methodology.
On behalf of the Editor-in-Chief and all editorial board members, we welcome all readers, researchers, and specialists to the journal's website. It offers access to all journal issues since its inception, along with detailed guidelines and procedures for researchers and reviewers regarding the publication and review of scientific papers.
In conclusion, the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial board extend their sincere thanks to the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association for Special Education and all its members for their continuous support, which has enabled this pioneering journal to reach broader horizons across Arabic and English specialized scientific databases.
